Søren Wandahl, Associate Professor, MSc, PhD, at Department of Production, Aalborg University in Denmark. Here he is a member of the building management group. Research interest is project management in the building industry with emphasis on management of value in the briefing process. Value is related to client requirements, where Søren focuses on how to improve the requirement capturing and satisfying the client's perception of value for money. This involves topics such as Value Management, Value Engineering and Value Based Management.

Furthermore, Søren is interested in budget overrun in building projects due to poor cost management.

- Teaching:

Søren primeraly teaches at the master in building management educations, but also on other educations at Aalborg University. The teaching leve is from first year student to 10th semester students. His main teaching areas are:

• Finance and accounting
• Value Management
• The building process

Furthermore, Søren has great plasure in giving lectures/speeches within his teaching and research areas.
